Associated Broker is an authorised Financial Services Provider in terms of the Financial Advisory and
Intermediary Services Act, 2002 (“FAIS”). Associated Broker acts as an independent intermediary and
provides advice and/or intermediary services, subject to applicable mandates, underwriting approval
and product rules.
Advice Process (FAIS-aligned)
Where advice is provided, we will: (1) obtain relevant client information and needs; (2) consider
appropriate product options; (3) make a recommendation where suitable; (4) provide a Record of Advice
(ROA) where required; and (5) provide ongoing service including amendments, renewals, and claims
support.
Remuneration
Associated Broker may be remunerated through commission (as regulated and paid by product
suppliers/insurers) and/or broker/admin/service fees where applicable and agreed with you. Applicable
fees and/or commission will be disclosed where relevant.
Conflict of Interest
Associated Broker maintains a Conflict of Interest Management Policy aligned to FAIS requirements. A
copy is available on request.
Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
We are committed to Treating Customers Fairly and strive to ensure clear communication, suitable
advice and appropriate product placement, quality service, and fair complaint handling.
Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with our service, you may lodge a complaint using the contact details in the
Complaints Policy section of this pack. You may escalate to the relevant Ombud if required.
2) Complaints Management Policy (Client Summary)
Associated Broker is committed to managing complaints in a fair, transparent and efficient manner
aligned to Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles.

A complaint is any expression of dissatisfaction relating to advice or intermediary services, policy
administration, claims, communication, or perceived unfair treatment.
How to submit a complaint
Please submit your complaint with full details (including policy number where applicable) via email or
telephone. Include your name, contact details, a summary of the complaint, dates, and supporting
documents where available.
Our process
We will acknowledge receipt, investigate fairly, and provide an outcome within a reasonable time.
Where additional time is required, we will provide progress updates.
